A customized quote may be provided when conditions require pricing different from our advertised rates.

3. Scheduling & Access

Customers are responsible for providing Dakota Pest Solutions with reasonable access to areas requiring treatment.

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate property and contact information.

  • Ensure gates and access points are available when necessary.

  • Inform Dakota Pest Solutions of relevant property conditions.

  • Follow preparation instructions provided before treatment.

If a property cannot be accessed at the scheduled time, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

4. Treatment Preparation & Safety

Customers must follow all preparation and safety instructions provided by Dakota Pest Solutions before, during, and after treatment.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Keeping children and pets away from treatment areas as instructed.

  • Following any required re-entry instructions.

Dakota Pest Solutions will perform services according to applicable pesticide labels, laws, regulations, and professional practices.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for maintaining conditions that support effective pest control.

This may include:

  • Removing food and water sources when appropriate.

  • Maintaining sanitation.

  • Reducing excessive moisture.

  • Repairing leaks.

  • Sealing openings where rodents or insects may enter.

  • Following exclusion or prevention recommendations.

Pest control treatments cannot guarantee that pests will never return, particularly when conditions allowing pest activity remain present.

6. Home Pest Protection

Home Pest Protection consists of scheduled seasonal treatments as described on the customer's quote or service agreement.

Our standard program currently consists of three treatments per year.

Treatment timing may be adjusted based on weather, pest activity, property conditions, or scheduling needs.

7. Mosquito, Flea & Tick Services

Mosquito, flea, and tick treatments are designed to reduce pest activity in treated areas.

Treatment effectiveness may be affected by:

  • Weather

  • Rainfall

  • Temperature

  • Vegetation

  • Property conditions

  • Pest pressure

  • Neighboring properties

  • Wildlife and environmental conditions

Mosquito, flea, and tick treatments do not guarantee complete elimination of these pests.

8. Rodent Protection

Rodent Protection may include exterior inspection, monitoring, and the placement and servicing of locking bait stations.

The standard Rodent Protection program consists of three scheduled treatments per year, unless otherwise specified in the customer's quote or service agreement.

Rodent exclusion, structural repairs, cleanup of rodent waste, or removal of rodents from inaccessible areas are not included unless specifically quoted and agreed upon.

Customers should not move, open, tamper with, or interfere with bait stations.

9. Wasp & Hornet Services

Wasp and hornet pricing depends on nest location, accessibility, number of nests, height, equipment requirements, and treatment conditions.

Treatment of difficult-to-access or high nests may require additional charges or specialized service.

Dakota Pest Solutions reserves the right to decline treatment when conditions are unsafe.

10. One-Time Treatments

One-time pest treatments are intended to address a specific pest problem and do not include ongoing pest prevention unless specifically stated in the customer's quote.

One-time treatment pricing begins at the advertised rate and may vary depending on the pest, infestation severity, property size, accessibility, and treatment requirements.

11. Re-Treatments & Follow-Up Service

Pest activity may continue after treatment as pests emerge from hiding places or as new pests enter from outside.

If follow-up service is included in a customer's specific service agreement or quote, it will be provided according to those terms.

A new or separate infestation may require additional charges.

12. No Guarantee of Complete Pest Elimination

Pest control services are intended to control and reduce pest activity.

Dakota Pest Solutions does not guarantee that a property will remain completely free of pests.

Results may vary depending on pest species, infestation level, environmental conditions, sanitation, structural conditions, neighboring properties, and customer cooperation.

13. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Customers should provide reasonable notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

Repeated missed appointments, cancellations, or inability to provide property access may result in rescheduling or applicable service charges if disclosed to the customer in advance.

14. Payment

Payment is due according to the terms provided on the customer's invoice, quote, or service agreement.

Dakota Pest Solutions may require payment at the time of service unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.

Outstanding balances may be subject to collection procedures and applicable fees where permitted by law.

15. Property Conditions

Customers are responsible for notifying Dakota Pest Solutions of known hazards or conditions that may affect service, including:

  • Unsafe structures

  • Aggressive animals

  • Locked areas

  • Electrical hazards

  • Structural damage

  • Construction

  • Other conditions that may create an unsafe working environment

Dakota Pest Solutions may postpone or refuse service when conditions are unsafe.

Dakota Pest Solutions reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when:

  • Conditions are unsafe.

  • Required access cannot be provided.

  • Customers fail to follow required preparation or safety instructions.

  • Treatment would violate applicable law, pesticide labeling, or professional requirements.

  • The requested service falls outside the services Dakota Pest Solutions provides.

17. Property Damage

Dakota Pest Solutions will take reasonable care while performing services.

Customers should disclose fragile, damaged, or sensitive property before treatment.

Dakota Pest Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural defects, hidden conditions, or damage resulting from conditions outside our reasonable control.

18. Pesticide Use

All pesticide applications will be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements and the pesticide product label.

Customers should follow all instructions provided by Dakota Pest Solutions regarding treatment areas, re-entry, pets, children, food, and other safety precautions.

19. Changes to Services or Pricing

Dakota Pest Solutions may change its services, pricing, schedules, or policies from time to time.

Any changes affecting an existing service agreement will be communicated to the customer as required by the applicable agreement or law.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dakota Pest Solutions' liability arising from services will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, customers agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from their failure to follow treatment instructions, disclose relevant property conditions, provide safe access, or comply with applicable preparation requirements.

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, except to the extent applicable federal law provides otherwise.

23. Entire Agreement

The customer's quote, service agreement, invoice, applicable service-specific terms, and these Terms & Conditions together constitute the agreement between Dakota Pest Solutions and the customer regarding the services provided.
